CANDIDATE PRIVACY POLICY

Purpose and scope

This Candidate Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is intended to provide information about how L.T. Values Value LTD (“Values Value”, “VV” or “We”) collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal data in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Regulation on data protection (GDPR), as well as national legislation (including the Federal Law of July 27, 2006 No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”).

Values Value is committed to protecting the data and privacy of candidates for positions at Values Value and complying with all applicable data protection laws.

Collection and use of personal data

The term “personal data” means any information relating to you, recorded in any form that identifies you or can reasonably be used to identify you.

Such data includes:

  • your first and last name (in English and your native language),
  • the country, the city,
  • education information,
  • contact details (e-mail, phone number, messengers),
  • social networks or portfolio of the candidate with posted works (LinkedIn, Facebook, VK, Artstation),
  • job title and employer name,
  • attachments if applicable (resume, cover letter, etc.).

In case you transfer the personal data of another person, you confirm that you have the legal right to process it and transfer it to third parties on the same terms as specified in this Policy or you use data obtained from open sources.

Values Value, as the controller of personal data, collects, processes, and uses the personal data provided by you through the following channels: the https://valuesvalue.com/ website, job boards, email, messengers, and job fairs to process your application, as described in more detail below.

In addition, we may collect and process your personal data obtained from the following public sources, provided that the collection of such data is necessary and relevant to the performance of the work for which you are applying, and provided that such collection of information is allowed to us national legislation (hereinafter referred to as “direct search”): LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and other social networks, Google, Telegram.

 

Background check

Before making a final hiring decision, we reserve the right to conduct additional verification of the submitted data on the contacts and references reflected and approved by you in your application.

 

Purposes of personal data processing

Any personal data you provide to Values Value will be used to process your application for a specific position. Subject to applicable law, your personal data may be stored and used to process your application for other eligible positions at Values Value and it’s subcontractors, unless you object to such processing; in this case, they will be deleted.

The processing of your personal data is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We need your personal data to carry out the recruitment process and we will not be able to consider you as a candidate for a position if you do not provide us with your personal data.

Any processing of personal data obtained from other sources is carried out based on Article 6(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When we retain your personal data to consider you for other positions, we do so in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to enable you to work with us in the future, even if We are currently unable to offer you any position.

 

Transfer of personal data

By applying, you transfer your personal data to L.T. Values Value LTD. Your personal data may be shared with other Values Value subcontractors who may contact you in connection with the specific position you have applied for, as well as other vacancies in the future. For this reason, your personal data may also be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. In this case, Values Value guarantees an adequate level of protection of personal data, including (but not limited to) signing with its subcontractors standard contractual clauses on data protection adopted by the European Commission.

 

Ensuring the protection of personal data

Values Value uses appropriate administrative, technical, personnel, and physical measures to protect your personal data. All electronic data is securely stored on cloud services and CRM (Google Drive, CleverStaff), and only certain authorized persons have access to this information. Your personal data is also protected by the confidentiality obligations assumed by all persons involved in the processing of your personal data.

 

Your privacy rights

You have the right to (i) require us to provide you with access to your personal data, as well as the right to data portability; (ii) require us to correct your personal data; (iii) object to data processing; and (iv) require us to delete your personal data. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if any of your rights have been violated.
