We are publishing the final results of the Big GameDev Salary Survey 2021!
The pandemic has made its own adjustments to the world of game development:
- people began to study more and treat overtime worse;
- due to the global transition to remote work, salaries in the regions have increased;
- there are still more men in game development and, unlike women, their salaries are growing.
For the first time, we analyzed the trend of changes in the median salary in game development for the past 5 years. These and other interesting findings can be found in the extended report at: Game_Indusrty_Salary_Report_2021.
We want to recall that 2413 Russian-speaking gamedev specialists took part in the study conducted by Values Value and InGame Job. Survey partners are DevGAMM, devtodev and Inlingo. Games Gathering and Achievers Hub have supported the survey as media partners.
