We had an amazing two days at DevGAMM. The atmosphere was fantastic, filled with the joy of reconnecting with old friends and forming new acquaintances. We had insightful discussions and shared our knowledge and thoughts about the industry while leading the Talent Management Track. Sasha Kononenko, Recruitment Lead at Values Value, perfectly captures the essence of DevGAMM: “Devgamm is like a New Year, you wait for it, prepare for it, and it flies like one magical moment”.
One of our highlights was organizing the Career Wall. As always, it attracted a lot of attention, with many people exploring job posts and specialists seeking information about the labor market. We received numerous inquiries for career advice, and it was exciting to engage with recruiters and representatives from different companies, exchanging valuable insights. The wall featured over 60 job ads from companies spanning various parts of the world, including Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Serbia, and more.
Katya Sabirova, Head of Communications at Values Value, delivered a remarkable industry report that captivated the audience. The Q&A session lasted quite a while, as visitors were deeply interested in the subject matter. One observation that particularly struck a chord was Katya’s analysis of the gender pay gap. “I sensed that the audience yearned for a more in-depth examination of the topic, and we will certainly prepare a detailed report soon!”, – says Katya.
Meanwhile, Sasha Kononenko participated in a panel discussion where managers, programmers, game designers, and recruiters gathered to discuss if AI can steal our jobs or not. The consensus was that while AI won’t be stealing our jobs in the immediate future, we must not overlook this topic. Ultimately, those who can skillfully leverage new technologies to their advantage will emerge victorious.
”DevGAMM is a highly professional and well-organized event, yet it manages to create a warm and cozy atmosphere where you can reconnect with old acquaintances and forge new connections. The insights we gain from the speeches and panel discussions are invaluable. I particularly enjoyed the Talent Management Track. A big thank you to all the participants and the DevGAMM team for making this conference such a pleasure to attend!
Sasha Kononenko sums up the experience aptly.
We wholeheartedly agree with Sasha’s sentiment!
