Challenges:

  • A narrow candidate funnel, as we worked specifically on RPG projects for mobile platforms.
  • Geographical focus: our priority was hiring within Cyprus. However, many candidates on LinkedIn indicated inaccurate locations (claiming to be in Cyprus but actually being elsewhere).
  • Additionally, among suitable candidates, there was a reluctance to relocate to one of the locations in Cyprus or Armenia.

What Helped to Fill the Position:

  • We did a thorough job in sourcing and recruiting. We explored various locations (with a particular focus on Cyprus) and donor companies, and posted the job on relevant platforms.
  • We utilized all possible sources: active role-based searches, targeting product and outsourcing companies, job portals, and seeking recommendations.
  • The client provided prompt and detailed feedback on the presented candidates. This allowed us to adjust our strategy in a timely manner and improve the quality of our search.

Thanks to regular information exchange, sharing ideas with the client, we were able to make informed hiring decisions quickly and efficiently, significantly speeding up the recruitment process, which led to position fulfillment in 45 working days. The process was managed by our Recruitment Consultant, Daria Tokar. Excellent work, Daria!
