This time, Values Value were looking for a Financial Manager/Accountant for a Ukrainian studio that seeks to create the best online MMO Sandbox on mobile devices. They were on the lookout for a specialist with knowledge of accounting rules, requirements for the preparation of primary documents, the ability to coordinate with tax authorities in Cyprus, work with VAT, offset, and refunds.

Desired Candidate Profile:
We searched for an Accountant/ Financial manager who could participate in the performance of administrative tasks of the company in its jurisdictions (finances, law, counterparties, personnel), work in the field of financial management and analysis of financial indicators. It was crucial to find a person with strong communication skills to work effectively with team members, counterparties, banks, lawyers (including in English).
Challenges:
It was hard to find relevant candidates because the client was looking only for financial managers/accountants with experience in the games industry. Usually such specialists are working for one company for many years, so hunting them could be a true challenge. Especially taking into account that the given salary range was pretty tight.
