Attending devcom and gamescom provided us with the invaluable opportunity to engage with fascinating teams across the gaming industry. One standout encounter was with the team from the German media, GamesMarkt. They expressed a keen interest in the findings of our Big Games Industry Employment Survey, and this led to an exciting collaboration.
Before the conference, we decided to share some initial data with GamesMarkt, and their team was eager to feature this data in their coverage, particularly as part of a special edition of their magazine that was available to all visitors in the business area of gamescom.
This special issue included an article that delved into the current state of the game industry job market, enriched by the findings from our survey. We are thrilled to have contributed to this piece, bringing our research to a broader audience.
