We often get asked how to attend a conference when you’re just starting out, have a small team, and can’t afford the regular tickets. Here are some tips and tricks from the DevGAMM team on how you can attend their event for free or at a discount!
Join as a Volunteer
Volunteers get free access to the conference. In exchange for your help, you can participate in activities and network with industry professionals.
How Volunteers Work:
- Work for one full day (choose any of the two event days)
- Shift times vary based on your role
- Enjoy the event and all the perks of a Standard ticket holder on your free day
Volunteer Criteria:
✔ Must be at least 18 years old
✔ English level B2 or higher
✔ Must be in the city where the event is held (lodging and transportation not covered)
✔ Passionate about the gaming industry and ready to help!
Discounts for Indie Game Developers
Indie game developers can get discounted tickets. Teams of up to 10 people qualify as Indie Game Developers. To get a discounted ticket, contact us at games@devgamm.com and tell us about your team and your game.
Indie game developers can also participate in the DevGAMM awards! If nominated, you’ll receive 1 free ticket per team.
Discounts for Students
Students from any university are eligible for discounted tickets. If you’re a student, contact us at contact@devgamm.com with your name, student ID, and university name.
